Post by: backwoodsboy on July 28, 2012, 12:03:08 AM
So me and a friend who lives right buy me walk into a local gun shop to get him a mosin nagant, which i told him would be a great addition to his 10/22, while im checking out a nice mosin for him i look back and hes pointing at a yugo underfolder, and says it looks cool. A little while later we walked out with a yugo underfolder. lol. From what i heard the guys on youtube were saying todays buy a gun day, because obama signed the un gun ban treaty, so we bought a gun! anyone else?  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

I've been posting this message everywhere that I see people talking about "buy a gun day"...

there are multiple "buy a gun days" and if any of them are going to make any significant impact or send any significant message, they need to all merge into one. (kinda the whole point, right?)

many of the patriot-oriented blogs are promoting BAGD for Nov. 6th (election day) while I've seen many youtube channels promoting it for various other days.

I support the idea of doing it on election day. not before, not after, but ON election day.

I'm just letting you all know, there are other folks out there promoting this event for different times. If we want to send a message, we should all decide on one day and get it done.

Bought a Bersa Thunder .380 today.

Finally, I have something to carry and put that lifetime CCL to some good use.

I'm looking into getting both a concealed carry revolver ((possibly an automatic... but I'm really picky)) and a rifle to replace my sks.

I shall buy them both on Nov. 6th. That'll actually give me plenty of time to save up.

if you want to upgrade your rifle buy way before elections, there will likely be another major run on the guns and ammo like in 2008

I'm sorry, I'm, for lack of a better term, novice gun owner so I'm not all that gun savy.  What do you mean?

the day obama got elected every asshole around rushed the gun stores when they opened and maxed out their credit cards, by the time the day was closed there wasn't a single gun or round of ammo in any store in the united states pretty much
my cousin sold 50,000 guns in one week

you couldn't find shit for about a year and it was real hit and miss to find a box of ammo for your gun

this is likely to happen again maybe not that bad but any ar15, ak 47 is gonna be the first to dry up
