But have really been working on my training, trying to move away from the "fun stuff" and get to the stuff that is more likely to keep you alive ... ie tactics.
I've been getting the friends out and sharing the old infantry tricks
I started a video series on it.
Individual Tactical Training Part 1 (Low Crawl, High Crawl, Rush) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlAd5FxXOIk#ws)

So how have you been managing ammo for training during this rough patch? Use 5.56/.223, .22lr conversion, or perhaps a 5.45 upper?

I use my 22 upper a lot, but like I said I've been trying to get others more interested in practicing tactics. I believe that some time practicing rushing around houses with friends or clearing houses with airsoft will go a lot more towards keeping you alive than shooting a 500-1000 rounds a month. That and PT. Mind you I still see the necessity of practicing with firearms, but I think it's over emphasized.

Yes, fitness is #1, especially cardio! Not only will it add 20 years to your life by preventing heart disease, diabetes and other killers, but it means you can practice these drills without completely exhausting yourself.

I added a page to our site with basic hand and arm signals - this is mostly meant as a follow up to the video on team movement

Cool man thanks for sharing. Side note. Ever busted an AR stock putting weight on it to get up and down?

Never broken an AR stock

10-4. I ask because weve all seen the drop tests from like 4ft that no AR stock survives. Thats more of a sharp shock to the stock but i could see in the heat of battle the user slamming the stock down while performing this maneuver
