Unchained Preppers

Alright after two years of army service as a general purpose bag, a year of it being my prepping CLS ( Combat Life Saver ) bag and a year of solid everyday rain and shine motorcycle riding with two plates a pistol belt and some random work nonsense. My bag is finally giving way. I'm debating on getting the same model of bag because it worked so well. However I figured I would reach out to the crew.
Here's the requirements.
It needs to fit a plate carrier with two Large plates.
A pistol belt
Paperwork, I a spot for a clipboard and a text book.
Misc. stuffs in main compartment.
I do not want a frame or anything like that, must be at the minimum double stitched.
Let me know what you got. The bag I have was made from " bug out gear "

Something like a messenger bag? 5.11 makes some good ones.
-
Maxpediton products are built like a tank... but do they make something that will fit your specific needs?
-
Like I said it's gotta be able to fit a full plate carrier. I'm asking for personal experiences I'm aware of the good companies. I appreciate the input so far though.

How about a link or a pic of what you're using now?

I can vouch for the 3 day Diego pack. Solid pack. Ive been walking up hill both ways in snow, to school for several months now. The only wear its shown is on one of the straps extra slack where I tend to suck on it.

I love you guys.
The urban operator and Tobago pack look like the right size. Thanks gents. I'll keep you posted a little busy as of late.

That Tobago pack looks like a Condor 3 Day assault pack, if that's the case, be careful Reaver as it's HUGE!
Look at this picture:

A similar one but a little smaller and more comfortable for daily use is the Condor Convoy pack.
I own both, and use the Convoy everyday, and the 3Day assault pack just for long trips where I need to carry a lot of stuff.

Exactly what I'm looking for.
Huge is what I need. How I ride usually consist of me loosening up the straps and pretending I'm riding with another person lol.
It sucks but at 50 miles to the gallon I'm saving money :-)

Apparently I forgot to read the part about looking for a backpack, lol.
Anyway, have had good luck with Drago Gear, and pricing is a bit cheaper than some of the bigger brands.

Gonna go with the 5.11 Rush 72
I like the way it clam shells. Has a large enough administration pouch and a separate spot for water bottles for when I stop at the store I wont have to stop and open up my bag displaying all my gear in the process just to store a gatorade.
Thanks for the help guys.
