OK folks I need some acronym help.
Lets just say you got a email spelling out a ham radio exercise like this...
SOI as follows: SSB voice, code-word WIENER DOG
> 25, March 2017
> 1800 hrs ET
P: 7.175 Mhz
A: 14.225 Mhz
C: 3.800 Mhz
E: email set new SOI for later exercise
> From primary, move up 10 Khz until contact is made
> Code-word: WIENER DOG
OK I get that this is a order for a ham radio exercise, but what does SOI and P.A.C.E. mean?
Think SOI means Statement of Intent
SOI = summary of information. PACE is a special forces acronym, usually dealing with communications, but it can also be used tactically, it represents: primary, alternate, contingent and emergency plans. Everyone has heard of Plan B, the special forces folks take it a little further.
