Title: Caches
Post by: Jackalope on December 28, 2017, 05:14:31 PM
Apparently the U.S. government was/is a firm believer in using caches for materiel, i.e. weapons.  I'm guessing that they continue to use caches for government continuity programs.  In any case, here's an article regarding caches in Alaska during the Cold War:  https://www.muckrock.com/news/archives/2017/mar/30/cia-alaska-stay-behind/?utm_content=buffer23a26&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer (https://www.muckrock.com/news/archives/2017/mar/30/cia-alaska-stay-behind/?utm_content=buffer23a26&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer)

You gents do know if you delete starting at the question mark in the link and all that follows it saves a pile of cookies, link trailings, tagalogs and all that kind of stuff.  Right?

Its really simple to do.  When you copy the link to bring here start at the H part of the TTP and highlight to just before the question mark before you right click and copy.

1) "http://www.sportsmansguide.com/"
2) "[_rl]http://www.sportsmansguide.com/"
3) "[_rl=http://www.sportsmansguide.com/"
4) "[_rl=http://www.sportsmansguide.com/CLICK"

For real?  You can do all that?  What does it do when you do that?  I am glad you can do it because I cannot.  I learn simple stuff because its simple stuff.

What you are talking about is not simple stuff.  You may think so because you are smart guys on computer stuff, but I am not.  I have tried to learn but I fell off the learning boat way way back when I had just joined and tried to Win 95.  I lost.

I still wonder what I would have received if I really did Win 95?  Hate losing things.
