Did some shopping at a military relics store yesterday and picked up another 30rd mag but the thing that interested me the most was a Molle vest. The price was $25.00 and I was concerned if this is a good price. It is worn but was not abused.
If this a good price I will save up to buy it.

A couple of questions JoJo.
1) Is it a plate carrier too?
2) Does it have a zipper up the front or do you doan it over your head and afix it to your body trunk on the sides?

No it is not a plate carrier and it is over the head with side straps.

I guess one question is do you have a use for it? Do you have magazine pouches and other assorted pouches for it? Better factor is their cost too, if you don't. As Johny is intimating, plate carriers have a little more versatility.

His magazine pouches are $2.00 each and he has a bunch of them. Do I have a use for it, well if SHTF it will be easier than a pocket full on mags. I thought of the chest rig that one of our members sells but $65.00 at once is a bit much for my budget.

May I be so bold as to offer a suggestion JoJo (Everybody has an opinion) - Take the money you would use to spend for the surplus vest and mag pouches and put in an envelope. Then as finances dictate add money to that envelope until to reach the level of funds needed for the vest you really want.
Being retired, MrsMac and i do that all of the time. My personality is one that if I settle for a lesser item, I am never truly happy with it.
