Oh one more thing. I contacted Starlink before I went down last year to be a RTO at the Hurricane Helene relief group. I explained my situation and they sold me a mobile starlink antenna and router at cost to them and with the understanding, I could return all and get a 100% refund. The cost was around $150-. I just left it in NC with the group that replaced us. ✌

With the exception of needing to deal with their company via email, I love them. Thank you Elon Musk.

Jackalope, you and the XYL will love it. Especially when the grid goes out which it does often in my neighborhood. I just plug it into the 110/120 v solar inverter system and I am back up within less than 5-minutes. And it sips juice as it is a passive system.  :thumbsUp: :cheers:

Well, based upon Johny?s review, we have ordered a Starlink system.  It arrived today, but I won?t be able to install until Friday due to the weather and other issues.  Looking forward to having a decent internet connection, as our new property is remote and utilities are not reliable.

Thank you Hope for picking up the Digital net on the fourth Tuesdays of the month. It gives me a breather and I appreciate it.

With that, I am looking for other NCS folks, digital or phone to pick up a Tuesday once a month. I have been doing this almost every week since March 2020 and I appreciate a night off here and there. I am NCS on some local nets too during the week so a breather is always appreciated. ✌  :cheers:
