A few thoughts from ol' JohnyMac:
1) On the Recent Events: I trust Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, and the Utah State Police to provide a thorough and transparent assessment of the situation. Their findings will unfold over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for updates.
2) Disturbing Reactions: I'm deeply troubled by the number of people celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination. It's striking that many of these individuals seem to come from the education and medical fields-professions rooted in care and knowledge. Some have publicly tied their hateful statements to their employers, bringing dishonor to their workplaces and colleagues. I support employers taking swift action to investigate and, if warranted, terminate those responsible. That said, let's keep perspective: these individuals number in the thousands, not millions-a small but vocal fraction. Still, it's disheartening to see so many disregard the pain of Erika Kirk and her two young children during this tragic time.
3) Mourning and Justice: Let's take a moment to mourn and, if you're so inclined, pray for the Robinson family. They, too, suffered a profound loss this week. Their son's actions have consequences, and the evidence suggests he will face prosecution, likely leading to a guilty verdict and, ultimately, execution. The process may take years-Timothy McVeigh's case took six years from arrest to execution. I expect a similar timeline here. Justice will run its course.
4) Erika Kirk's Strength: Mrs. Mac and I watched Erika Kirk's speech last night, tears streaming down our faces. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching it
HERE. Her demeanor and tone radiate both deep anger and unwavering determination. Charlie Kirk's legacy and Turning Point will not only continue but grow stronger. Erika is emerging as a powerful voice in the conservative movement-a rising star to watch.
5) A Broken System and What's Next: The Democrat Party, as we knew it, is crumbling. Like the nursery rhyme
Humpty Dumpty, it's beyond repair. But a cornered animal is dangerous, and I fear we'll see escalating unrest-perhaps one kinetic act a week now, then two, then clusters. Stay vigilant, folks. My advice-let events unfold as they are in God's hands.
6) Focus on what you can control: Your preparedness. Stock up on beans, Band-Aids, and bullets, and most importantly, get right with Jesus Christ and our Father. As for me, I've got winter firewood to stack and firearms to clean & oil tomorrow. Preparation never stops.
73 & God Bless from the Redoubt,
JohnyMac
