Battery Charger
« on: August 05, 2025, 08:16:40 PM »
My KOBALT battery charger died. Does anybody know if I can just buy a replacement charger from someplace like Home Depot or Lowes? My Charger is a model number KRC 2445-03. The front plate reads 24v Max Lithium Ion. I have 3 perfectly good batteries for my weed whacker but I need to be able to charge them.

OK, I went to Lowes and they had what I wanted. Instead of the little KOBALT charger, I bought the big rapid charge model. It cost me $60 bucks but now I don't have to sit around waiting for a battery to finish getting topped off. I charged all 3 batteries in just under 2 hours.

Glad you found a replacement, PK.  Along those lines, I primarily use Dewalt batteries.  Dewalt makes quick battery chargers that run on 110 vac and also they have chargers that run on 12 vdc.  I use a couple of the 12 volt chargers because I run them off our solar electric system.  It?s nice to be able to charge off grid.
